It’s 20 years since the first Dún Laoghaire Regatta, and the team are working hard already to bring you excellent sailing on a variety of courses, whether one-design or handicap, dinghy or keelboat. Our waterfront clubs will provide a social scene not to be missed, and we are planning some innovation mixed with the traditional features both ashore and afloat. Keep coming back here to check!
Since it first set sail in 2005, Dun Laoghaire Regatta has grown biennially and showcases the very best of Irish sailing action on the water. The well-proven 4-day format will be used once more for the 2025 event, with up to five race courses in operation on the water from Friday 10th to Sunday 13th July.
Race Director for VDLR 2025 will once again be Con Murphy IRO, who will be assisted by Ireland’s most experienced Olympic, International and National Race Officers.
